Who Can Receive a Flu Shot at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) Flu Clinic?
- SCCA Patients receiving treatment in the General Oncology/Hematology Clinic,Radiation Oncology, and the Women’s Health Center. Patients undergoing Transplant should not receive the flu vaccine. Please consult with your clinical care team to determine when you will be eligible to receive the vaccine.
- Family members, caregivers, and donors for patients undergoing Bone and Marrow Transplantation (BMT).
When?
Monday-Friday beginning Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 8am-12pm and 1-5pm. No appointment necessary.
Where?
1st Floor of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Clinic in the Blood Draw Department. Please check in at the first floor Main Reception Area.
How Much Does it Cost?
- We will bill insurance for all SCCA registered patients and donors.
- $20 for families and caregivers of patients undergoing BMT (Cash or Check only)
Do I Need to Bring any Paperwork to the Flu Clinic?
- FOR SCCA PATIENTS: Please talk with your clinical care team at your next visit and your nurse or doctor will give you an order to receive the vaccine. Please bring the completed order with you to the flu clinic.
- FOR FAMILY MEMBERS, CAREGIVERS, AND DONORS FOR PATIENTS UNDERGOING BMT: You do not need to bring any paperwork to the flu clinic.
